The palate is balanced and almost bright, with its fresh acidity keeping it ticking along. There is plenty of aged material here, but the freshness and vibrancy of young fruit gives it that distinctive mouthfeel.

This is gorgeously composed and expressed, showing raisin, toffee, star anise, and assorted nut aromas on the nose. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and velvety texture, wonderfully complemented by delectable sweetness and juicy acidity, making it highly enjoyable.
