DalwhinnieEagle Shiraz 2003
About this product
Located near the tiny village of Moonambel in Victoria's Pyrenees wine region, Dalwhinnie have the highest position of any vineyard in the area. This enables David and Jenny Jones to produce one of Australia's truly great cool-climate Shiraz, and one that ages every so gracefully. The 2003 Eagle sits at the top of the Dalwhinnie tree in terms of power and concentration and now with around 10 years in the bottle, the wine is now beginning to show its true colours of blueberry, redcurrant and a firm, but balanced tannin and oak influence.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
