About this product

Château Bellevue Mondotte is a tiny estate, high up on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion which was bought by Gérard Perse in 2001, the owner of the famous Premier Grand Cru Classé Château Pavie. With Michel Rolland as consultant, the wines are aged in 100% new oak giving the wines a robust, yet unctuous and velvet texture to them. The 2009 is an extraordinary wine indeed and quite possibly the best the estate has produced. A colossus of a Merlot blend that will have the propensity to age for the next 30-50 years. Simply unbelievable!
