Château La Tour de MonsMargaux 2009
About this product
The Château La Tour de Mons vineyard is 110 acre plot that is planted with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot and dates back to the 13th century. Recent renovations to chais and vineyard drainage have seen the wine return to an extremely well priced traditional Margaux. The 2009 has produced a wine of immense proportions, in line with the rest of the appellation in this vintage of a lifetime. Balanced flavours of mulberry and more acid driven notes with fine, yet structured tannins. Superb.
