About this product

Château La Gaffelière is an ancient Saint-Émilion estate that can trace its origins back to the 1400s. While some have commented on the sites inconsistent results over the past century, in recent times Michel Rolland has transformed the Chateaux into one of the truly great right bank producers. The 2009 is a monumental effort in every sense of the word. Extraordinary richness and complexity with flavours of blackberry, aniseed and bold, ripe cherry complimented by lovely oak integration and an immense length of flavour. Simply marvellous!
