Château de MyratSauternes 2009 375mL
About this product
The recent history of Château de Myrat is an interesting tale indeed. In 1975 due to financial hardship the owner at the time pulled up all the vines as he was no longer able to afford the upkeep. Luckily the new owner replanted just in time before planting rights were withdrawn! With 2 decades under their belt, wines of rich and lusciousness are produced and the wine from 2009 is simply a triumphant follow on from the great wines of 2007 and 2008. Youthful and exhuberanant in nature, flavours of lemon tart, raw honey and rich marmalade are all present along with ripe apricots and vanilla bean.
