First Block Chardonnay

Vittorio De Bortoli, one of the forefathers of the now famous De Bortoli name first 'turned over' his plot of land in 1927 - it is in the spirit of Vittorio and his first endeavours to make a living from the land the the First Block range has been produced. This Chardonnay is a delicate balance of ripe melon and peach fruit along with crisp, clean acid that gives the wine a real complexity for the price.
