Of recent years the estate of Château La Garde has been expanded and developed to enhance this traditional Pessac Châteaux's quality and consistency. Evidence of which can be tasted in the 2009 Rouge that shows quite evocative dark cherry flavours and crush herbs. Still quite plush and fruity on the palate, entirely enjoyable and will remain so for the next 6 to 8 years.
