Making only 2 wines and concentrating most on their iconic Cabernet blend, Lake's definitely take the laid back approach to winemaking. Utilising traditional methods like hand picking, gentle crushing and open top fermenters, the Lake's Folly Cabernet is a lovely hark back to an old Australian 'Claret' style. The 2004 comes from a dry, cool vintage, resulting in a wine of true elegance and style and is tipped to cellar for more than two decades.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
