McHenry Hohen is a boutique family run winery established in 2004 by Western Australian stalwarts, Murry McHenry and David Hohnen. The latter responsible for the winemaking success that is Cape Mentelle. Today the wines are made by son-in-law Ryan Walsh and the results of years of local experience can be seen in this exceptional Shiraz. A vivid deep-purple colour in the glass is followed by robust plum and cherry flavours all wrapped up by integrated tannins. Perfect.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.

Dense, deep purple-crimson; concentrated and focused as the colour would suggest... black cherry, Satsuma plum, licorice and grainy tannins drive the wine.
