A 51/39/10% blend of tempranillo, touriga and tinta amarela, each variety fermented and matured separately in new and used French oak barriques, the best barrels blended after 20 months. A lovely wine, full of fragrance and perfume, spicy red and black fruits dancing on the light- to medium-bodied palate, and taking it through to a long, lingering finish; oak, tannins and alcohol are all simply vehicles for the fruit.

Impressive packaging is met with impressive fragrance, with dark fruits, violets and red fruit highlights combining with grace and ease; the palate continues with perfume as the theme, yet there is an underlying savoury note that provides interest and freshness to conclude.
