Crimson-purple; also tasted early; the bouquet is very fragrant, and the medium-bodied palate is wonderfully supple and smooth; there is an abundance of high quality fruit, with some red berries as well as dark. Great future.

Presenting a deep garnet-purple color, the 2009 Mount Pleasant Old Paddock and Old Hill Shiraz reveals aromas of cassis and kirsch over subtle scents of violets, underbrush, cinnamon stick and mocha. Medium to full-bodied with a great concentration of blackberry and spice flavors, it has a firm level of finely grained tannins, refreshing acid and a long finish. Drink this on now to 2020+.?
