Leeuwin EstateArt Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
About this product
The very renowned Leeuwin Art Cabernet Sauvignon is a mighty Margaret River red which leads off with blackcurrant and the forever present earthy aromas. It's tannins have turned softer and more 'chewable' over the years and has been blended with Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot to give it a complex and well structured palate, with flavours that can be distinguished as only from Margaret River.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Bright hue for age; a quite remarkable outcome from a rare cool and wet Margaret River vintage; the decision was taken to sweat it out, and enough fine weather returned to achieve ripeness, ironically in a more accessible style than the ’07.
