Deep colour; it spent 15 months in a mix of old and new French and American oak barriques, giving rise to a fragrant and expressive bouquet of black fruits, spice and cedar nuances. The palate really sings with dark berry fruit, oak and tannins the supporting orchestra. Right up there with the best Black Labels.

Elegant, finely crafted and long-living, with a bright, violet-like perfume of cassis, dark plums, mulberries and fresh, slightly smoky cedar/vanilla oak backed by a hint of underbrush. Underpinned by a a willowy spine of smooth, pliant tannins, it presents a lingering core of intense black and blue berries and plums tightly knit with fine-grained oak. Very stylish and complete.
