This Dynasty Merlot from the Ningxia Helan Mountain region in Northern China has produced a deep and flavoursome wine that has a dark ruby colour in the glass. The nose is typically Bordeaux-esque with elegant notes of blackberry and cassis which is followed by a luscious and smooth palate suitable for a wide range of cuisine, especially slow-cooked lamb.
