Kay Brothers Amery VineyardsBlock 6 Shiraz 2003
About this product
The Block 6 vineyard dates back to 1892. Over 110 years later four acres still remain, cropping at extremely low levels, the fruit is of extreme quality. The wine is an excellent example of a big, rich & brooding McLaren Shiraz. After basket pressing & fermentation in open top fermenters built in 1896, the wine is matured for over 2 years in new American & Baltic oak producing intense flavour & great longevity.
