Cape MentelleCabernet Sauvignon 2001
About this product
Cape Mentelle has a rich history of producing exceptional quality Cabernet with a strong regional (Margaret River) identity and great cellaring potential. The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Estate's Wallicliffe vineyard, producing fruit of remarkable intensity and character. The tightly packed palate is ripe with dark berries, plum and coffee. It’s well structured tannins and supple texture are all gracefully balanced with a complex array of flavours that carry the length of the palate.

Rich, gently savoury blackcurrant, earth and dark chocolate; medium to full-bodied; excellent tannin structure, good oak. No brett; lovely wine. High quality cork.
