Dry, Medium Bodied style of Red BlendRipasso is the traditional technique that promotes a second fermentation through the wines contact with warm dried grape skins from which Amarone has been pressed. Zonin produce a wonderful example of the northern Italian style here with their Ripasso that is superbly aromatic and rich and show similar flavours to the more expensive Amarone itself. Dark chocolate, espresso beans and dark, ripe cherries all are present to deliver a truly value-for-money full-bodied Italian red wine.
