A classical blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the Grand Billard represents extraordinary value. Fragrant wild forest berries on the nose lead into delicate notes of cacao and vanilla. The palate is loaded with berry fruits and blackcurrants all framed by chocolate and mint. It is exactly as Mr Murphy say. This is great entry level Bordeaux, good drinking now but room to improve. Stylish, well put together wine. Something different for Australian palates. Buy more Mr Murphy..

A great everyday type of a soft and smooth red. goes well with most food. has been enjoyed by friends who have travelled through france and stated that this wine is a typical bordeaux region blended red which is consumed everyday with meals
