Ballarat Bitter and its iconic imagery of Ballarat Bertie hold a special place in the beer loving heart of Victorians. Originally a top fermented bitter style ale, Ballarat Bitter was brewed by the Ballarat Brewing Company up until the takeover from Carlton & United in 1989. For a very short you can take home Bertie once again with this limited edition production of Ballarat Bitter.

What a shame that this seems to be a limited run - as a Ballarat man born-and-bred, I have fond memories of Ballarat Bitter - the weekend tradition of Friday night Ballarat's is fondly remembered. Alas the memory of the taste of the origin

Thank goodness it's limited: * Melbourne Bitter in a different can * Easy drink but no real taste * Any beers from a can are rubbish * Why drink this when there are plenty better for the same price * Think of it as fancy VB
