With a remarkable history in Tasmania's south, Pooley Wines produce some of Australia's premier cool-climate wine from 25 year old vineyards in the Coal River Valley. Beginning with Pinot Noir and Riesling, the late Margaret and David Pooley began Pooley wines in 1985. Still tending the vines into her 90s, Margaret and grandson, Matthew, formed a formidable winemaking team picking up multiple gold medals and trophies around the country.
