About this product

Auchenstoshan Valinch Single Malt is a limited edition lowland malt created by the historic distillery famous for triple distillation. The Valinch was borne out of demand for a cask strength version of the 'Classic' Auchentoshan without the process of 'Chill Filtration'. Valinch is the name given to the pipette used to draw whisky from straight from the cask. A perfect name for a malt with the depth of flavour, intense length and supreme complexity that comes from tasting whisky from the source.

One of the worst malts i have tasted, smells ike a hamster cage and delivers up front heat on the palate, and a thin, woody finish.
