The Vieille France Champagne bottle is inspired by the original shape of Champagne bottles dating back to the 18th century, when it was referred to as an "apple bottle" due to its round shape and very thick base.



Sourced from he Montagne de Reims region, this blend of Chardonnay (4%), Pinot Noir(30%) and Meunier (30%) opens with aromas of citrus, red apples, and roses, with a lively delicacy on the palate, supported by subtle, yeasty notes.

This is a beautiful and unique champagne. I believe this champagne works better with food, in particular something like pigeon or pheasant with wild mushrooms. I purchase a bottle for my collection whenever finances permit.

This was a mystery pick so I didn't know what I was going to get but it was a delicious surprise for Melbourne Cup Day. I would buy this again for a special occasion.

Excellent Champagne. Loved it. Quite complex, would recommend it with food. My wife and I are running back to store to go for a full case now;-)

Unique bottle, shame about the contents, this champagne has no depth at all... Equivalent to an average French sparkling, isn't it always the case, you get sucked in by the packaging.
I wouldn't recommend to a friend
