About this product
A stylish Cabernet Sauvignon blend with Merlot and a touch of Shiraz and Petit Verdot from the 2007 vintage. Sourced from low yielding vineyards, in what have described as being a difficult year, yet the team at Petaluma have produced an absolute hedonistic 'Coonawarra'. Chewy, almost crunchy tannins are present along with a lavish smattering of blue and black fruits that carry the wine marvellously early in its life, although it is destined to live well into the late 2010s.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Youthful hue; vibrant, blueberry fruit is slightly dominated by lavish levels of new wood; however, beneath there are ample levels of fruit, with an almost velvety texture and slightly chewy tannins; very long finish.
