SaltramWinemaker's Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
About this product
Saltram Winemaker's Selection is a chance for the skilled Saltram winemakers to select special parcels of fruit from around Angaston in the Barossa Valley to truly express the terroir and vision of the Saltram team. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon was hand-crafted from fruit selected from various sub-regions including the Dorrien district. Vintage conditions were perfect with mild weather during the important September to December period, following a January of low temperatures allowing the fruit to truly develop the colour and flavour needed for such a special wine

A vintage which helped cabernet sauvignon retain personality and typicity in the Barossa; the wine is flush with cassis and blackcurrant, soft, ripe tannins, and good oak.
