This vineyard has been drawn on only twice, prior to this vintage: '05 and '10. dry-grown across the deeper terra rossa zones, the beauty of this loaded expression is as much the power, as the palate-whetting tannins, drawing the saliva across the mouth and making one hanker for the next bite and sip. Currant, olive, fennel, bracken and strewn herb, with an accent on sage. This is statuesque yet restrained; focused and genetically imbued with Coonawarra's finest accents.
