"2015 Pierro VR Chardonnay is the cream of the crop and mainly from the oldest vines planted in 1980. Hand picked and hand sorted and then gently cold pressed to release the finest free run juice which was fermented in Burgundian French oak barriques 70% of which were new and 30% one year old. Then matured in these barriques for 12 months with regular battonage and malolactic fermentation (95%).
