About this product

Still remarkably young and fresh, the 2016 Marsanne from Tahbilk, having spent 5 years in our cellar, is a vivacious drink right now, but could easily stand another 5 years. Good floral intensity and bold citrus notes, with crunchy mineral acidity and emerging textural honeysuckle notes, provide excellent current drinking. Hints of apple and green herb add to the energy of this delightful wine. Tahbilk Marsanne has been a staple at Dan Murphys for 70 years. It's easy to see why.

So pure with a more developed flavour than current vintages, as to be expected. Fabulous drinking. Good with seafood and lighter meats. Actually would go with just about anything.

Drinking beautifully right now with an opportunity to further age in the cellar. Good examples of aged Tahbilk marsanne will age well into the teenage years. And the price remains ridiculously modest.
