About this product

Pinot Noir has a long tradition in the Pfalz, where it is known as Spätburgunder. Villa Wolf Pinot Noir is warm and medium-bodied, with a firm acid structure. Its bright black-cherry fruit is juicy, ripe, and forward, with a spicy mid-palate. Twelve months of aging in used barriques gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins. It’s an excellent, approachable red wine for everyday dining.

This is rock solid, any night of the week, BBQ, pinot quaffer that is bang for buck. From Germany's Pfalz region which is famous for its dry wines. You don't need to show it respect, its only here for a good time only. Highly recommended

Bought after a recommendation from the Guardian newspaper. Finished in one night. A complete wine amateur so won't bother attempting to provide a detailed review, but I will buy again.

Trying to find a low alcohol after dinner drink. This is way too tart for me. Cheaper Lambrusco at 8.5% alcohol tastes better and is cheaper. So avoid this unless you like tart wines.
