The 2014 is a hand picked, single vineyard cuvee’ from the Woodberry vineyard just north of the Watervale township.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.

Woodvale Shiraz, stepped up a gear. That extra something. It’s much like the ‘standard’ shiraz in its flavour profile but there’s an extra lob of (well integrated) oak and extra push to the finish. It’s a better wine. It tastes of boysenberry, blackberry, dense plum and asphalt, with elements of clove, violet and gum leaf prettying up the edges. Tannin swerves confidently through the back palate and out through the finish, drawing flavour with it. Impeccable.
