The Remarkable State1836 Single Vineyard Barossa Tempranillo 2016
About this product
Sourced from a small block on the corner of a family's Shiraz vineyard, this is a special parcel of Tempranillo.
The wine is very varietal, some nice stewed fruits and mint on the deep middle palate, it is very textural.
Only 5 barrels of this wine were made of the 2016 vintage, and really represents the case of quality over quanitity!

Delectably expressed, it is filled with dark fruit flavours together with notes of warm spice, floral and vanilla pod. The palate is concentrated and silky, delivering terrific fruit richness and intensity, leading to a lingering tasty finish. A splendid rendition of the variety.

A convincing expression of Tempranillo produced from a small block in the Barossa Valley. It's a rich, ripe style delivering plush cherry/berry flavours overlaid with rose garden aromas. Great balance and well placed tannins complete a very serious wine.
