Although a wonderfully full bodied, typically "Penfolds" style red that is a joy to drink now, its best years are ahead. A sturdy frame of dark fruit singing with a rich baritone pitch, dark chocolate, coffee/mocha tannins, black olive, evolving meatiness, and damp black earth notes make this one of the better structured Bin 28s in recent years.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
