Metaxa is a Greek Spirit made by diluting an aged cask strength brandy with muscat wine and a recipe of botanicals including anise and rose petals. The 7 stars represent the 7 years of ageing of this delicate but bold brandy.

Just brought 3 bottles from Germany for 12 euros each. You can't compete against German prices at all. Our government is to greedy.

Interesting and welcoming flavour. It almost comes across as a Brandy that gently dips its toes into Port/Tawny territory. Sort of an ideal half way point between a top end Cognac and an outright spiced Port/Tawny. Very well worth trying

Our absolute favourite tipple. Beautiful and fruity with a hint of sweet, but still that delicious brandy taste. We have it at night as we relax and wind down... just a bit of water and some ice cubes and this is heavenly. Amazing.
