The nose is ripe with blackberry and blackcurrant, spice and liquorice characters, while the palate is intense and concentrated with great balance. In optimum cellaring conditions this wine will continue to develop over the next 5 to 8 years.

A powerhouse of colour, flavour with its black fruit profile, licorice, dried herbs and a spice rack of aromas yet surprisingly supple tannins and just shy of full-bodied. Good to feel the restraint with chalky raspberry sorbet-like acidity and very fresh.
