Our first look at Wolfburn’s lightly peated spirit—this limited release is the forerunner to Morven, Wolfburn’s upcoming peated release. Back in ‘14 Wolfburn acquired a number of very small, experimental (100-litre) first-fill bourbon casks of exceptional quality. These were filled with a lightly peated spirit (using 10ppm peated malt) in summer 2014. The name comes from where these barrels were matured: warehouse 1, stow 28.
