Crafted from Mount Gay's oldest reserves, the 1703 Master Select blend includes 10 to 30 year old single and double pot and column still rums. 1703 Master Select pays tribute to the date marketed on a legal deed dated, February 20, 1703, that signifies the existence of a Pot Still House on Mount Gay's sugarcane estate in Barbados, establishing Mount Gay as the worlds oldest rum producer. It is a premium sipping rum, best enjoyed straight or with a few drops of water or an ice cube. 1703 Master has rich amber, like warm burnished copper with even legs, a refined harmony of fruity rich vanilla, banana and oaky and mocha notes, a delicious balance of raisin, spice and toast and exceptional roundness with a long, delicate finish.
