Growing Bere on Islay has been an incredible challenge. In all the trying Bruichladdich has only managed five harvests making Bruichladdich Bere Barley a very rare dram indeed.
Unpeated and produced distilled and bottled on islay at 50% ABV this whisky has a rich nose with green fruits, gooseberries, apples and pears plus a deep rich and malty palate and a long finish.
