Destemmed and crushed, open-fermented, twice daily pumpovers, post-ferment maceration, matured in oak for 15 months. The intense, deep colour heralds an equally dense and deep wine on the bouquet apple alike. Black fruits, spice, pepper and licorice play tag on the long palate. Despite its power, the balance points more to medium-bodied than full-bodied.
