California Pinot Noir

Established in 1985, Decoy is recognized for producing attractively priced wines from exceptional vineyard sources, including Decoy's own Ridgeline and Brownell estate vineyards in the Alexander Valley. The winemaking program is guided by acclaimed Winemaker Dana Epperson, who is an expert at working with multiple grape varieties across multiple regions. The Decoy lineup includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay. Decoy Pinot Noir expands our exploration of the depth and diversity of this varietal to California winegrowing. Highlighting a distinctly plush and approachable expression of Pinot Noir, this lush and alluring wine draws you in with aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry, red currant, black tea and sage, as well as rustic hints of earthy forest floor. On the palate, the generous ripe berry flavours are framed by bright, balanced acidity and refined tannins that carry the wine to a long, silky finish.
