“88% savagnin, 12% sauvignon blanc. An above average pet nat (petillant naturel) style that shows just how vibrant, fresh and complex this old school approach to sparkling wine can be. It takes a high degree of skill to do less in winemaking. Light golden tones, crushed Fuji apples, grapefruit pith, grilled lemon-citrus. Developing a light nuttiness on the palate with citrus long on the dry finish.”

Bright and clean, just enough savoury under the squirts of cloudy apple juice and limey acidity. Big, frisky fizz, lots of attractive perfume, good halva/nougat nutty sweetness in the mix. Really pleasing wine, done well in the style.
