If you are looking for a true Barossa Shiraz experience, Barons of Barossa will provide it in spades. It's a collaborative effort by a number of famous Barossa wineries that displays all of the characteristics that wine enthusiasts love about Barossa red. It's generously flavoured, rich, soft edged - almost huggable. There's deep, dense, dark fruit, dark spices, roast plum, soy, and a note of dark chocolate all wrapped in a soft silky tannin blanket. This is a perfect example of what the Barossa does best.

From a great vintage in the Barossa, this is a dark maroon hue. Finely balanced, with notes of chocolate, plums, bay leaves, black fruits, mocha, soy, aniseed and cassis. After a little time in the glass, the cassis comes to dominate and in a very good way. Seamless, finely balanced, refined and with a line of acidity running the length. A very attractive wine. Silky tannins and excellent length here. Enjoy it now or any time over the next ten to fifteen years...
