Sourced from several vineyards; uncomplicated winemaking, then aged in French and American hogsheads. McLaren Vale shiraz without too many frills, and that's no bad thing. Regionality is writ large and provides the canvas for the variety, with red and black fruit and a touch of sweet spice rolling easily through the supple, mid-weight palate to good effect.
