Russian Jack was a nomadic Latvian man who lived in the Wellington area and picked fruit in local regions, including Martinborough, for 50 years. The fruit for this pinot noir, named in his honour, was sourced from the famous Martinborough wine region. It's a medium bodied, sweet fruited pinot with a mouth watering rhubarb tang and dark cherry richness, Full flavoured in style, it's suitable to serve with rich game dishes such as duck ragu.
