Wonderfully fruited and gorgeously expressed, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, spiced cherry, game, cigar box and dark cocoa aromas, leading to a beautifully weighted palate that is supple and fleshy. The wine offers terrific fruit power and intensity, well supported by rich texture and silky tannins. At its best: now to 2022.
