Deep red with a purple hue. Aromas of black currant and earth with hints of vanilla and spice lead to a substantial palate, assertive with great structure and length. Complex concentrated sweet notes of black cherry and blackcurrant are nicely integrated with savoury herb and chocolate flavours. The wine is very well balanced with soft tannin. It has a very long finish with lingering plummy flavour. Good Claret!

Beautifully complex and inviting, the bouquet shows cassis, spiced cherry, tobacco and roasted nut characters, leading to a succulent palate that is wonderfully supple and lingering. The wine offers excellent fruit intensity together with stylish oak infusion backed by fine, grainy tannins, finishing persistent and sturdy. At its best: now to 2027
