Mandrarossa is a winery dedicated to the advancement of indigenous grape varieties and the best sites to grow them in Sicily. Their vineyards cover a diverse range of geologies, from volcanic canyons to limestone cliffs and sandy, coastal sites. Frappato is one of the winery's specialities, which typically produces red wines that are fresh and light in body, with abundant red fruited aromas, gentle spice, and a grapey roundness on the palate. Ruby-red with purplish hints, with aromas of sour and black cherry, red fruits and sweet spices. Elegant with a gentle roundness on the palate and great aromatic length. A vibrant, refreshing and aromatic red wine offering excellent drinkability.
