When James Squire was caught stealing the ingredients to brew the colony’s first beer, he was punished with 150 lashes of a whip. Thankfully for us, James Squire remained undeterred and kept on brewing, so we named our iconic pale ale in honour of his drive and hustle.

Great to be able to travel and take some 150 lashes cans too. Bonus 10mls over the stubbie version. The beer to take camping when you have also bought it on special!
