A pot-pourri of aromas greets upon opening. Mushrooms, brambles, liqueur cherries, asian spices, smokey oak and shag tobacco mingle amicably. Richly textured, silky and even, round and mouth filling, this has rewarded our patience handsomely. After 6 years in our cellar it's at its peak, and now, yours to enjoy.

This 2013 release may well be another level. It’s a beautifully expressive nose and a decidedly complex palate. It has density: plums, cloves, garden herbs and sap, with black cherry flavours swooshing throughout. It’s satiny, gamey, herbal and yet flush with varietal fruit flavour. Spicy tannin and smoky oak are keen contributors too. We are most definitely on a winner here.
