The well ripened grapes are carefully destemmed and crushed to fermenters where they are macerated in a way to minimise extraction of hard tannins. All providing a rich and generous nose and mouthfeel. This is achieved with less vigorous maceration and lower fermentation temperatures. Maturation then takes place with American and French oak before blending and bottling. The grapes for our Shiraz come from our loyal growers throughout the Barossa Valley. Soils, site and viticultural practices vary but the one common factor in these vineyards is the unmistakable generosity that shines through in the wine.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

This is seriously impressive, and in the very best traditions of Barossa shiraz. You'll find a rich and satisfyingly thick red from a good vintage. Roasted dark plum, earthy tannins, blackberry confiture and chocolate underlay speak convincingly of "Barossa floor". A sumptuous accompaniment to your special roast dinner.

This is magnificent; the gorgeous bouquet shows blackberry, blueberry compote, vanilla, cake spice and cedar characters, followed by a sumptuous palate that is wonderfully textured and expansive. The wine offers outstanding depth and richness, superbly structured by loads of polished tannins. At its best: now to 2030
