Always an amalgam wine, the single varieties silencing their individual voices for the greater good. It's a great vineyard, and there's an underlying additional power here over the black label that promises and delivers so much. The ultimate in Coonawarra medium bodied blend. Speaks volumes of place, not varieties, which is just what many Cabernet and Shiraz assemblages fail to do. This should be the blueprint. Success!
